Test Results

Thank you to every single one of the 2,277 people who helped test the concept posters, concept trailer and video storyboard for INVISIBLE. Here’s a peek at some of the results.

Concept

How testers scored the movie’s potential:

“Very relevant story, incredibly tense, with an emotional core. It's unusual to see the topic of modern day slavery explored in modern cinema, so feels very needed.”

“Very unique and interesting plot, also very relevant to the political situation within Britain right now and is also very real and therefore scary.”

Concept Posters

We tested 100 posters over six weeks. Here are the best three:

BEST ACROSS ALL MEDIA

Concept Trailer

“I like the way the camera zooms in and teases you with what might be coming next.  The sound effects are a good way of building tension and the fact that you don't actually see anything is a clever way of working with the concept of invisible.”

“The design is incredible throughout. The mixture of voice over and audio adds an enormous amount of suspense and tension.”

“The trailer made me anxious, scared and on edge all in one.  Loved it, loved the suspense and the mystery, it reeled me in.  When does it come out?”

Video Storyboard

Here are some clips from the 20 minute video storyboard which told the story of the entire movie:

Emotional Response

We used AI-driven emotion detection to measure each tester’s emotional response to the video storyboard, second by second. Here’s just one example chart showing the overall engagement of testers second by second:

The ending of the movie generates both a strong emotional response and high scores and great comments from our test audience:

ENDING

Choosing quotes which don’t give too much away …

“I liked the ending, and the fact that the two women are shown as fully realised people.”

“I liked how the end scene unveiled more about the victim and shed a completely different light on her.”
